Voting is now closed. The Final results will be announced on the show Wednesday, June 4th.

Here are all the details that you need to participate in the SciFi 16 Tournament. The information for the current round are at the bottom of this page. Your contribution will come in two parts:

1. Voting on each round’s competitions to decide which franchises will advance in the tournament. Currently you are voting for the second round. You should be voting for the franchises that you LIKE more in each of the matches.

2. Leaving a message on the Temporal Temps Hotline for each round telling us why you think some match-ups are more interesting or if you have a good reason for people to vote for an underdog. You can call (801) 938-5525 or if you are a Skype user, simply send a voicemail to “scifisurplus.”

During the first round, we had people turn in brackets to predict how the whole tournament would play out. They are competing for $25 dollars worth of Free SciFi Surplus Stuff.

The Divisions are for fun only and have no real bearing on the tournament. It just sounds more fun if you can put them into divisions. We realize that there are no superheroes in The Hall of Justice Division. The seeding just worked out differently than we hoped.

The number after the franchise name in parenthesis is the franchises seed, or initial rank. This is a guide to the general strength of that franchise. Tournaments are typically set up in such a way that the strongest seed always plays the weakest seed.
