ABC has made the first 17 minutes of their new Supernatural drama, The Gates, available at Hulu. The Gates premiers tonight.
I got word from Vince that this is something the world must see. For some reason he is unable to post at this time but he's able to watch YouTube. I'm not entirely sure that makes sense. But here you go.
DC Comics writer Geoff Johns posted some incredible pictures yesterday from a Blue Beetle screen test. The scene was put together to help sell the idea of developing a live action TV series around the character. They are planning on bringing the video to San Diego Comic-Con this year. There's also details about the Young Justice cartoon series and Green Lantern movie casting news.
According to SlashFilm.com, Fox has made an offer to Robert Rodriguez to have him direct a Deadpool film.
Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I assumed that a Deadpool movie would be on hold after Reynolds signed on to star as the Green Lantern. Apparently Fox has continued development and are actively seeking a director.

Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, the broadway musical expected to premiere later this year at the Hilton Theatre has found their Mary Jane. Jennifer Damiano earned a Tony award in 2009 for her performance as Natalie in “Next to Normal,” has announced that she will be leaving the show on July 18th, reportedly to begin work on Spider-Man.
