DC Comics writer Geoff Johns posted some incredible pictures yesterday from a Blue Beetle screen test. The scene was put together to help sell the idea of developing a live action TV series around the character. They are planning on bringing the video to San Diego Comic-Con this year. According to SlashFilm.com, Fox has made an offer to Robert Rodriguez to have him direct a Deadpool film.
Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I assumed that a Deadpool movie would be on hold after Reynolds signed on to star as the Green Lantern. Apparently Fox has continued development and are actively seeking a director.
Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, the broadway musical expected to premiere later this year at the Hilton Theatre has found their Mary Jane. Jennifer Damiano earned a Tony award in 2009 for her performance as Natalie in “Next to Normal,” has announced that she will be leaving the show on July 18th, reportedly to begin work on Spider-Man.
