About Me:
I’m the slacking friend of a friend who likes to make noise with my mouth. Anxious and more than a little self-conscious, I only show my ugly head when I don’t have to act like myself. It’s just easier that way. Besides that, when I’m a little too “on it” I have an annoying tendency to act like Jim Carey … and, seriously, who wants that?

I am a gamer at heart, and a lover of far future, where humanity and society are barely recognizable, and “close” future Sci-fi of some similar to Stargate, but more… real. Most of my Sci-fi love is not the pretty and established societies that you would see in Star Trek, or the high tech universe you would see in Star Wars. I’m very much a lover of apocalyptic scenarios. I’m a problem solver at heart and love strategic puzzles on organic terrain. I’m a sucker for a well run pen and paper RPG, however, I do shower and maintain a healthy social outlook beyond that scene.

I can even claim a history of “UFO abductions” in my extended family. Nothing close to me, but my Aunt has had plenty of experiences as well as all of her kids. Just didn’t happen to my side of the fam, sadly… No missing time here. They knew I would be too much of a fanboy, so they crossed me off their genetic testing list.

Though computers are my bag and it is doubtless I will never be without one where ever I am, I would also be inclined to hide-away in the mountains and disappear from humanity being one of those hermit sorts who collects guns and scares children. Sadly, because of that, I am not really sure where I fit in… I’m apparently not even comfortable in my own skin.

• Robert Jordan broke my reading muscles, I haven’t finished a novel since I just couldn’t bear to read his stuff anymore. (1/4 of Book 5 in 2002 or so.) That is, besides the Harry Potter series.
