Dave
Dave Lewis is a native of the Boston metropolitan area with a background in college and graduate theater. In addition to his SciFi Surplus work, he is also the voice of the National Telecommuting Institute, of TakeCharge, and previously of panels at the New York Comic-Con, WizardWorld Boston, and the Comic Arts Conference at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Currently a doctoral student, Dave is also the author of a number of comics works, including The Lone and Level Sands and Mortal Coils. He serves as an Editorial Board member for The International Journal of Comic Art and as a freelance writer for Beliefnet and Publishers Weekly Comics Week, among others. His current research is in modern images of the afterlife, and his latest creative works include contributing to the Postcards: True Stories That Never Happened anthology and collaborating again with mpMann on the Some New Kind of Slaughter mini-series. Dave lives now in East Boston with his wonderful wife and two cats, Bamf and Snikt.
