Make sure you stay in your seat when watching The Avengers not just once but twice for extra scenes. We’ve become accustomed to this Marvel universe whetting our appetite for another film and this one continues the tradition in a somewhat confusing way. It’s a bit premature to tell you exactly what was in the first bit because it’s still opening weekend. I can say that we are given a glimpse of a big bad that makes room for many levels of speculation.
The second scene after the credits, featuring enough names to displace the population of Wyoming, was a treat and is not to be missed. So don’t miss it. Again, I’m not going to tell you about it here but I’m certain to make mention of it in this weeks audio show.
I’m also going to make sure everyone knows that this film is mind-blowing-ly-awesome and sets a new standard for modern film. Michael Bay ain’t got nuthin’ on the “new-look Joss.”
