There is a bill making its way through the US legislature that could break the Internet. It is an over-reaching piece of legislation that gives too much power to corporate copyright holders. They could be allowed to take down websites at the DNS level without due process. Proponents of the bill and of the PIPA bill say this is to fight copyright infringement from abroad.

Watchmen 2 Artwork Leaking
Over the past week lawyers at DC have been working a little bit of overtime trying to get leaked artwork for a sequel to the Watchmen taken off the web. Rich Johnston at Bleeding Cool dot com somehow received and posted the artwork online. Then they received a takedown notice from DC comics, lending to the legitimacy of the project. It appears that DC comics really is working on a sequel to Watchmen.

Thor 2 Has A New Director
Marvel has announced that Alan Taylor will be directing Thor 2. They originally had an agreement with Patty Jenkins to direct the film but she left because of creative differences with the Marvel executives over the movie. Alan Taylor has been directing Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire, among other projects.
Thor 2 is expected to be released in theatres on November 15th, 2013.

Speaking of reality shows ...
The owner of the brothel featured in HBO’s long-running series, Cathouse, recently purchased a rundown brothel near the Nevada Test Site and plans on converting it to a science fiction themed whorehouse. He’s wants it to appeal to folks with more than a passing interest in Area 51, but not enough of a passing interest to realize that the Nevada Test Site is downwind from where the Government used to test nuclear weapons and not anywhere close to where they store the remains from the alien autopsies.

Harrison Ford in Ender’s Game
It’s official, Harrison Ford is joining the cast of Ender’sas Game. Ford will be playing Col. Graff.
Also signed on is Abigail Breslin who will be playing Valentine Wiggin, Ender’s older sister.
They are joining Asa Butterfield as Ender Wiggin, Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian, Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham, Brendan Meyer as Stilson and Khylin Rhambo as Dink. The film is planned for release March 15th, 2013.
