Anti-witness News

The SciFi Channel is announcing a Battlestar Galactica prequel movie. The two-hour event will air after the conclusion of the forth and final season of BSG sometime in 2009. The story will focus on the cylon characters of Cavil, also known as number 1, Sam Anders and Chief Tyrol before the events in the miniseries. The project will be directed by Edward James Olmos.

The forth installment of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, sold 1.3 million copies in the first 24 hours. This is a huge number for a book but doesn’t come close to J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with 8.3 million in the first day.

There are rumors that John Barrowman - best known as Captain Jack on the BBC’s Torchwood and Doctor Who - is slated to be the frontrunner for Captain America in The First Avenger: Captain America when it releases in May of 2011.

J.J. Abrams’ Fringe has been picked up for the fall by Sky One. Sky One delivers television programming to the U.K. via cable.

Feature Interview

JC Hutchins sat down with us to talk about his 7th Son trilogy of podiobooks, and what coming up for him personally and his predictions for new media!

The Sloppy Third Part of the Show

The new Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie comes to theaters August 15th, without much of the big splash we are used to from Lucas productions.

The third of four Futurama movies going straight to DVD has a release date. Bender’s Game will be available on November 4th, 2008. The latest Futurama story will be their first foray into fantasy themes. Guest voices will include George Takei and Rich Little.
