Hemry. You may know him better by his pen name, Jack Campbell. We’re eagerly awaiting the latest book in his Lost Fleet series and he has fascinating information about the military and battle in space. We at SciFi Surplus have been reporting the tid-bits that have been trickling out and there are so many spoilers that have burst through the floodgates that we don’t dare tell you any more because it’s potentially harmful to your enjoyment of the movie.

Newsweek that Billie Piper (Rose in Dr. Who) is appearing in a
British series that will be shown on Showtime. It’s called Secret
Diary of a Call Girl. Definitely not G rated. Too bad I don’t get
Showtime and I don’t know how I would explain getting it to my wife.
It’s a British show. You can see clips from it on Youtube. Actually … ITV2. And it’s been picked up for a third season. The show is based on a blog called Belle de Jour: diary of a London call girl.
This kind of news is slow to get to America.
RepRap Replicates Itself

A robot has replicated itself for the first time. The RepRap, short for Replicating Rapid-prototyper, is an affordable, open-source 3-D printer that can build any plastic component. The parent, child, and grandchild were revealed to the world at the Cheltenham Science Festival.

Iron Man director, Jon Favreau, says the “Demon in a Bottle” storyline revered by comic-book fans is unlikely to be a part of the movie sequel. Favreau says that his main concern about is any possible conflict with the upcoming Will Smith movie, “Hancock,” which will feature an alcoholic superhero who seems to be his own worst enemy.

“Knocked Up” star, Seth Rogen, has written the script and plans to star in “The Green Hornet.” The Green Hornet is the alter-ego of Britt Reed, a newspaper magnate that fights crime. The proposed release date is June 25th, 2010.
Kyle Newman Returns to Fanboys

Director Kyle Newman has returned to “Fanboys” to oversee the final cut of the film. There were issues with major plot points that involved terminal cancer that were pulled out of the original script after the movie was completed. Everyone was brought back for re-shoots. The film was originally supposed to be in theaters in 2007 and there is still no release date.
