    Hey all,

    Quick responses to #36:

When did y’all talk about Nebula awards? Since it was the lead topic, I thought it would be at the beginning of the ‘cast….

And it’s great that you had a guest “Lost” fan on, but…

    1) John’s description of the most recent epi, while a spot on review for a fan like me, must have left non-fan’s heads spinning. It’s hard for me to tell, because…

    2) You didn’t allow anyone to respond briefly to John’s review–what’s up with that?

I’d give it a “C” for effort–yes, you finally got some well-informed “Lost” content, but it was a free-bie audio clip sent in by a fan, and you didn’t take even two seconds to repond to it as a group.

Oh well, thanks again for all the time and effort you put into the show twice a week.

Doc should rot in a special hell reserved for rapists and child molesters for making that comment! That is all. Thank you!

  3. Casey Says:

To Scott: I honestly don’t know what happened to the Nebula rundown. It was in the plan that we used. Thank you for mentioning it so we can get that information into #037. On the topic of Lost, we get lots of flack for talking about Lost and just sounding uninformed and idiotic. I hate Lost. Basically I wanted to give some time to someone that both knows the show and likes it.

To DarthByron: As it turns out there are many emails that are coming in that support what Doc had to say. Who knew?

  4. Rob Says:

    Hi all

On the topic of the Iron Man trailer. Did you see the bit on The Onion? http://www.theonion.com/content/video/wildly_popular_iron_man_trailer

My wife, who is not a fan of super hero movies, has no idea who Iron Man is wants to see this movie, based on the trailers and the cast.

  5. Cogitator X Says:

Hey Doc was probably right. At this point handling more cash and prestige to Lucas is kind of like volunteering for an anal probe…and Fozzy Bear Lucas won’t even provide any lube.

Folks, that was another great episode but you need someone to balance Randy’s twisted views. In Randy’s world up is down, wrong is right…cats living with dogs…it’s mayhem.
Just kidding, Randy. I know you’re not a Star Trek fan but I want to point out that had it not been for ST in 1966 & later The Next Gen, we wouldn’t have the wide spread availability of SCIFI movies and TV. ST in 1966 made SCFI mainstream in that it was no longer the domian of soley 12-13 year old comic book geeks but of normal everyday people and adults. 20 years later ST:TNG convinced the suits at the networks that SCIFI could be quality drama and most importantly (to them) profitable. I firmly believe that the success of TNG is why projects like B5, Stargate SG-1, Firefly, BSG, Buffy, X-Files, etc. get green lighted these days.
    Just sayin’.
