Also, in the news, Will Smith’s superhero movie Hancock, Gillermo Del Toro has news on two fronts, and a tid-bit about the new Barbarella. I’ll also give a quick update of the SciFi Sixteen later in the show.

Vince: The latest trailer for Will Smith’s new superhero action-comedy, Hancock, debuted Wednesday on American Idol. Hancock is the story of the worlds only superhero. He lives like a homeless person, drinks too much, and isn’t very nice to people. Things become sticky when he enters into an inappropriate relationship with the wife of the man trying to resurrect his image. Hancock hits theaters on July 2nd this summer.

Transformer’s Megan Fox is FHM’s Sexiest Woman

Casey: “Transformer’s” Megan Fox is the 2008 Sexiest Woman according to FHM Magazine. Last year’s number one was Jessica Alba best known for her role in the “Fantastic Four” movies and playing Max on “Dark Angel.”

Wolfgang Peterson Out of Ender’s Game Movie

Vince: Wolfgang Peterson will NOT be directing the movie adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s Enders Game. Pre-production is expected to begin in early 2009 and there is word that many meetings are taking place with new potential directors. The questions that most people have cannot be answered until a director is in place. That question is who will play Ender.

Del Toro: Only 3 Hell Boy Movies

Casey: If “Hellboy II: The Golden Army” does well in theaters this summer, a third film is expected but no more. Gillermo Del Toro has made it clear that the contracts for a third movie would stipulate that there would be no continuation or prequels. Del Toro says he’s completely prepared for a third film and the seeds for the story are already in the second movie. “Hellboy II” will be in theaters on July 11th.

Del Toro Officially Directing “The Hobbit”

Vince: Gillermo Del Toro is now officially signed to direct Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit.” Del Toro has been telling people for a couple weeks now that he’s just waiting for the paperwork to get finished. Now that the director is in place, things can begin to move forward and casting can begin. We’ll keep you up to date as the information is made available.

HP: Half-blood Prince Video Game

Casey: Electronic Arts and Warner Brothers Interactive are preparing the video game “Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince” for a release that co-insides with the sixth movie in the franchise. The game will be available for the Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS, PC, Macintosh and mobile devices. “Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince” has a U-S release date of November 21st.

Rose McGowan goes Blond for Barbarella

Vince: Rose McGowan has died her hair blond for her role in the upcoming remake of “Barbarella.” You may remember McGowan from “Grindhouse” as well as Paige from the television show “Charmed.” Despite the coming actors strike, McGowan insists that “Barbarella” is still on track.

Nana Visitor in Friday the 13th

Casey: “Deep Space Nine’s” Nana Visitor will be playing Pamela Voorhees, Jason’s mother, in the remake of Friday the Thirteenth. The Pamela character is expected to be decapitated early on in the film.
