Thank you for taking time to listen to us. This is show number 33. On the way I’ll tell you about Andromeda dependence as well as my favorite parallel universes to park in. In the news is X-Files, Stargate and Ronald Moore.

SciFi Surplus is presented by listeners like you. Thank you for your donations.

Before we get started I have to give you some news that we’re not going to talk about in the show because of a time distortion.

Amy Acker will be joining the cast of Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse in at least a recurring capacity. Acker is best know as Fred to fans of the Buffy spin-off, Angel. Dollhouse is a television series that is expected to air on Fox this Fall. We’ll talk more about this on the Council of Great Relavance this Wednesday.

Let’s get our geek on!

Stahl-David: Cloverfield DVD Less Sick

Casey: Cloverfield star Michael Stahl-David says the DVD release of the feature film will be a good chance to catch details that were too easy to miss in the movie theater. The Cloverfield DVD will be available on Tuesday, April 22.

Greatest American Hero Movie?

Vince: The rumor-mill at Movie Hole dot Net is saying that Owen Wilson is no longer attached to the big-screen remake of “The Greatest American Hero.” The project is expected to be different than the 80s television show in that the powers that “Ralph the school teacher” gets will be varied. One example is that he will burst into flames at an inopportune time. The project is a comedy and is expected to arrive in theaters sometime next year.
