Well who knew my little theory would delight Casey so much that he?d mention it in the podcast. I?ll explain why the Cylons would create ?humans? to find the real humans. For the Cylons their purpose was to exterminate humanity. Without humanity the Cylons are left with an existential crisis that would lead them to search for their ?meaning? or their God. I also think that this would make for an interesting close to the series. That the new humanized Cylons would find themselves wondering what all their suffering was for if they aren?t humans and now that they?re no longer Cylon then what are they. I guess I just find the idea of everyone dies or everyone lives kind of limiting and this would give an ending that would ask questions like what is the point of war and what makes us human and what gives life purpose.
